Hi William,

I guess if you see your children as gifts from God and these little ones are little saints in their own way, you may realise that you can be the greatest saint being their father in the eyes of your children.

Dear Erica,

You will need to check with the priest who is administering the Sacrament of Baptism to your youngest daughter. He will advise you on the necessary preparations for making the sacrament a meaningful celebration.

My husband and I were married in a catholic church. As a non catholic, I vowed to support my husband in raising our children catholic. We are planning the baptism of our youngest daughter. The godmother choosen is not catholic and I have found that she could be considered a christian wittness. What documentation does on need to be a christian wittness? What role in the actual baptism would a chritian wittness have?

How many saints were parents? Do you know how hard it is to be a parent and a saint. The frustration never ends sometimes! Somebody does something dumb every day. I have 7 children and not one day goes by that I have to bite my tongue. Some days I would like to say that kid is not mine! This seems to be a job where there are absolutely no days off. I am committed to a lifetime of parenting.

I am new to the blogging world. Just trying to get mine up and running out here in Colorado. I am excited to muse a little about the Catholic faith online and I hope you would check mine out at some point. Blessings.

Hi Frank,

To love someone is a decision. And to share one's life with your spouse is a decision too. I remembered a word of advise from the priest who solemnised our marriage. "Learn to care, to share, and to be fair, to each other".

This is all so very true. Well i agree with it. I am yet to be married but this basically explains what marriage is. My favorite line in this paragraph: And remember, strong marriages are built on loyalty, and loyalty is a decision, not a personality trait.
